Together in prayer for Cheshire East
"The borough, and the nation, stands at the crossroads in so many ways – social, political, financial and spiritual. At this moment therefore it is imperative that we come to the Lord for his help and healing, his forgiveness and release. Our hope for the future rests in his hands. It is time to seek the Lord."
Robert Mountford, CrossRoads Community, Author, Heal the land.

A Call
All across the world whole communities are being radically transformed as Christians unite in prayer for their villages, towns and cities.
Arise Cheshire East is a call to united, intentional and focussed prayer for our area. It is a response to a vision and passion that in the midst of these most difficult of times we can see lives changed, communities healed and transformed and above all the name of Jesus glorified.
- Recognising the value of all the prayer that has, and continues, across Cheshire East in many different styles and traditions
- Honouring what is happening already
- Encouraging those who have prayed faithfully for many years and
- Inviting others to join in and to join together.
We believe that there is much more that the Lord has for us and more that as believers we are being called to in prayer.

The future
Encouraged by what has happened so far, inspired by friends at the Beacon House of Prayer in Stoke and profoundly challenged by the state of our nation, the crises facing many and the need to call on our God for His mercy on our nation we now invite you to join us in making 2012 a year of unbroken prayer for Cheshire East
